Casa Ybel Wedding | Stephanie + Austin

Austin and Stephanie were set up through a mutual friend. They planned to go on a double date, but at the very last minute the other couple had to cancel, leaving Austin and Stephanie to decide if they would still meet. Who knew one quick decision would decide the rest of their lives. They continued on to the winery that night to meet for the very first time. After the night ended, Stephanie just knew Austin was the one – calling to tell one of her best friends, “This is the guy I’m going to marry.” Both Austin and Stephanie could tell there was something very different about this relationship as it progressed – something truly special. They are very opposite in many ways, but that’s what has made their relationship work.
On October 2nd, 2015 Austin nervously hid a ring box in his sock – of all places – and proposed on a gondala ride next to the Plaza, in Kansas City. Of course Stephanie said yes. The two were showered with love and support at the exciting news! Their love then grew even greater than they could imagine when they became a family of three after their beautiful little girl, Natalie Grace was born.
After much deliberation, they decided they wanted to break away from the ordinary and would have a beach wedding, making sure to involve their little girl every step of the way. Sanibel Island was a special place to Stephanie because of her dad, so it wasn’t a hard decision to make it an even more special place for their entire family. Not long after Natalie’s first birthday Austin and Stephanie said their I do’s on a beautiful day in May, surrounded by the ocean and the love of family and friends, both near and far.
