Once upon a time (in 2016), two ‘Bumble’ bees met in Madison Square Park on a beautiful NYC Summer day. It was a little-known secret that residents and tourists alike can enjoy a beer or glass of wine in this oasis in the city by taking advantage of the ‘special line’ at Shake Shack. And so the bees shared details of what they would be wearing (Chalene a black dress with white converse, and Brian a blue button-down shirt with blue jeans) and took a chance on a Tuesday afternoon. She fell in love with his dimples and blue eyes, and he fell in love with her infectious smile, and they have been buzzing around their home city of New York together going to restaurants, baseball games, sunset cruises and just enjoying life ever since.

For their wedding, Brian and Chalene wanted to find a place that would be convenient for their family and friends to travel to from all corners of the world, but still highlighted Chalene’s Caribbean roots and represented their love for being near the water. So the couple chose the picturesque shores and stunning design of the JW Marriott on Marco Island. Brian, Chalene and their newly merged families loved their beach wedding, with the tropical flowers, sunset cocktails, pineapple wedding cake and carnival atmosphere. But above all else, the couple loved the chance to start the next chapter of their lives together with their closest family and friends there to help turn the page.
