Clayton and Laura lived just two miles apart in Michigan, yet it was match.com that brought them together in 2014. Their first date out for beer and pizza ended with a kiss and plans for a second date. Laura had always thought a date at the zoo would be romantic, so when Clayton suggested a second date of seeing the holiday lights at the zoo, she knew she couldn’t resist. After only their third date, Clayton bravely accepted the invitation to join Laura’s family for Christmas dinner. Soon after they took their first of many trips together to Florida, where they could visit with family and spend time enjoying their hobbies. After Clayton proposed to Laura on a beautiful morning on a quiet New York City terrace, they knew that Florida would be the perfect place for their wedding. They were so happy to be married by Clayton’s uncle, surrounded by family and friends, on a lovely evening on Sanibel Island. And now they live happily ever after!
