Libbie and David met four and a half years prior to tying the knot at the Edgewater Beach Hotel in Naples, Florida. They found each other on Tinder, an online dating app. Shortly after connecting on the app, David infamously asked “What would it take to go on a date with you?” to which Libbie replied, “A time and a place.” They went on their first date to Town Hall Station, a local restaurant in Minneapolis, MN. Libbie immediately enjoyed David’s sense of humor and interesting conversation. David was impressed with Libbie’s caring demeanor and love of tacos. It was the start of a beautiful adventure. In March of 2022, the couple decided to visit their family in Venice, Florida. On the first day of vacation, David proposed on the beach, right before sunset. Libbie was so surprised! They enjoyed champagne, shrimp cocktail, and a nice seafood dinner afterwards to celebrate. David and Libbie initially had a tough time deciding on what type of wedding they wanted. Once they decided to have an intimate wedding, it was only fitting that they went back to Florida for their nuptials. They invited their immediate family to travel down from Minnesota and celebrate their love on the beach. The day couldn’t have been more perfect! The beautiful beach scenery, delicious food, and the meaningful stories and messages shared made it an experience the couple will never forget. David and Libbie are so glad they “swiped right.”
