Now this is a story that proves two people who were destined to be together. Born and raised in Naples, John and Kandice met when they were in elementary school. They dated in middle school briefly (if that’s considered dating).
After graduating high school and going from elementary-high school together, they parted and went to different colleges. With Kandice in California and John in Gainesville, it would appear to be that they would be going their separate ways. But, returning home during Christmas in 2006 would reunite these two. They ran into each other at a friends Christmas party and once again it was evident chemistry still brewed between them only stronger than ever before. As fate would have it, John and Kandice both moved back to Naples and began dating again (real dating this time). Not long after being a couple, John and Kandice welcomed their beautiful son Jacob on Valentine’s Day of 2008. These two continued on their journey as young parents growing up together and finding themselves.
Just shy of one year after the birth of their bundle of joy, John proposed to Kandice in the privacy of their own home on Christmas morning of 2009. In the most romantic and private setting, John knelt down on one knee and asked her to be his wife and to spend the rest of her life by his side. Without a doubt, Kandice excitedly said “Yes”.
Just as fate would demand, almost five years later, these amazing two would finally tie the knot! On April 19th, 2014, John and Kandice said “I Do” with their toes in the sand and the wind in their hair on the most beautiful day of the year. They had the most incredible wedding they could have ever dreamt of with all of their family and loved ones by their side. John and Kandice will go on living an amazing life filled with love and happiness as long as they both shall live just as destiny would have it!
Thank you to all who made this fairy tale wedding come true!
